4 Lessons from the Slander of Aisha (RA)

  1. Know that Allah is all-knowing
    Prophet ﷺ said (to `Aisha). “If you are innocent, then Allah will declare your innocence: but if you have committed a sin, then ask for Allah’s Forgiveness and repent to him.” (Bukhari)
  2. Be truthful in every matter
    Why, when you heard it, did not the believing men and believing women think good of one another and say, “This is an obvious falsehood”? (24: 12)
  3. Beware of the punishment of Allah
    Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment. (24:23)
  4. Do not return to evil ways
    Allah warns you against returning to the likes of this [conduct], ever, if you should be believers. (24:17)
