- Jibril told the Prophet about Hafsah
“She is an often fasting and worshipping lady and she will be your wife in Paradise too.” [Mustadrak Al-Hakim 4/15]
- She made a bed so soft that He slept through Tahajjud
On one night I thought if I folded the canvas into four and spread it, it would become softer. I folded it and spread it that way. In the morning Rasulullah asked: ‘What did you spread for me last night? I replied: ‘It was the same bed, I only folded it into four so that it may become softer’. Rasulullah said: ‘Leave it in its original form. Its softness deprived me of my prayers (tahajjud) at night’. [Shama’il Muhammadiyah]

“Uthman sent a message to Hafsah (saying): ‘Send us the manuscripts so that we may copy them in the Musahif (then we shall return it to you.)’ So Hafsah sent the manuscripts to ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan.” (Tirmidhi)
