  1. A Muslim can recognize him
    Dajjal is blind of one eye and there is written between his eyes the word “Kafir” which every Muslim would be able to read. (Muslim)
  2. He will emerge from the East
    ‘The Dajjal shall emerge from a land in the east called Khurasan.’ (Tirmidhi)
  3. He is one-eyed
    The Prophet ﷺ said (about Ad-Dajjal) that he is one-eyed, his right eye is as if a protruding out grape.” (Bukhari)
  4. His fitnah will spread across the world
    There will be no land that would not be covered by the Dajjal but Mecca and Medina. (Muslim)
  5. He will come with great deceit
    The Prophet ﷺ said about Ad-Dajjal that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be) fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, would be fire. (Bukhari)
