- She was presented to the Messenger ﷺ by Jibril
Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ with her image upon a piece of green silk cloth, and he said: “This is your wife in the world, and in the Hereafter.” (Tirmidhi)

Anas bin Malik reported Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: “The excellence of ‘A’isha over women is like the excellence of Tharid over all other foods.” (Muslim)
- She shared a romance with the Messenger ﷺ that was unmatched
“I used to perform Ghusl – the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I – from one vessel. He would compete with me and I would with him until he would say: ‘Leave me some’ and I would say: ‘Leave me some.'” (an Nasai)
- She was protective and defensive of the Messenger ﷺ
Once the Jews came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “Death be upon you.” So I cursed them. The Prophet ﷺ said, “What is the matter?” I said, “Have you not heard what they said?” The Prophet ﷺ said, “Have you not heard what I replied? I said, ‘The same is upon you.” [Bukhari]
